You would figure this late in the year the new music game would slow down but NOPE the jams keep coming through. This past Sunday was no exception as I set up another groovy set. I was all over the place playing tracks from Joji, Sleigh Bells, Hookworms, Ty Segall & Prayers. This erratic playlist may have been due to the death virus that is coursing through my vein, in short I don’t feel good.

Guess who’s gonna be on the east coast soon? THIS GUY!!!! Gonna hit Florida then post Thanksgiving fly north to NJ. 

As for New Noize we will be taking a break this Sunday but come the next few Sundays Im gonna have my home Ricky take over.

Its the most wonderful time of the year, and I’m not talking snowflakes or federal indictments, I am talking about HALLOWEEN!!!! And to all my east coast people, have a great Mischief/Devils Night tonight. 

This past New Noize we celebrated early with a playlist that had a Halloween “flare” to it. I went heavy on the metal, touched on some avant-garde Japanese awesomeness and got dark like under my bed. 

Side note to all the home owners during this trick or treat season. Please don’t give out apples, tooth brushes, pennies or anything else that doesn’t contain sugar and artificial flavors. Don’t be that person.

I have a confession, I have no idea where I put my New Noize playlist after I packed up and left the studio Sunday night. The list above is everything I played, just not in the order I played it. I blame this heat wave that has been pounding southern California for the past 3 weekends or so. 

It too dang hot to do a full write up so enjoy the playlist and prepare for next week Halloween New Noize Special come Sunday.

ALSO new Assassins Creed game drops on the 27th and its back to playing brown people (the game takes place in ancient Egypt) for me. I am excited as I haven’t played an AC game since ACII. I am excited to return to this franchise, lets do this Ubisoft.
