A Tuesday update? But why? Monday was a monster so apologies.

Song of the Week goes to the very likely duo Father John Misty & Lana Del Rey with "Buddy's Rendezvous" Seriously these 2 on the same track just makes sense even though FJM's voice is hardly on this specific track. I would love a "Watch the Thrones" type collab between the two so here is to hope, which is dead in America so the expectation are low.

Album of the Week goes to Interpol. Personally I have been waiting for this record for a while and it was worth the wait. Its fantastic cover to cover and you should check it.

SIDE NOTE I am also a really big fan of the new beabadoobee record "Beatopia". Its on constant repeat and I aplogive to beabadoobee for my Interpol bias.

SIDE SIDE NOTE. I don't know who Rachel Bobbitt is but her new EP "The Ceiling Could Collapse" struck a chord with me on the inside so maybe it will strike you on the inside as well.

I would say I am stoked for a bunch of upcoming concerts but inflation, the amount of algie that has died in the ocean and the position of Europa versus her other Galilean moons has caused a disruption in my dopeness flow.

Also TRIGUN is coming back in 2023!

It is a new story apparently. We shall see how things unfold for the man who is worth sixty billion double dollars in 2023.

I'm back baby CAN YOU HEAR ME???? After dodging the vid for 2 something years I got caught. Instead of heeding the words of the 3 wise men I DID trust a big butt and a smile and got hit with that pandemic "Poison". I am sorry Bell Biv DeVoe and to all the people out there that missed out on New Noize.

So much to catch up on. One of my personal highlights from this past Sunday's show was hooking up my Nintendo Switch to our radio board and playing mndsgn "skrrtfightr" at track that slaps the shit out ya mouth like when I drop a triple gem chain as Ken in Super Puzzle Fighter. You might be wondering "Haaris was it that hard to get someone to send you an wav of this". Yes, I have surly annoyed the shit out of multiple labels, tour managers, artists social media (no me and mndsgn and knxwledge aren't friends.yet) and Capcom (both USA & Japan). I am fan first and foremost and whoever was in charge at Capcom and assembled these producers for these additional tracks you get a big ol Dan Thumbs UP. Still not convinced? This one is truly only for the real ones:

You know I didn't stop with the video game music, I also played Raekwon & Ghostface Killah aka Only Built 4 Cuban Linx "We Ain't Came to Lose" off the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder's Revenge OST.

Song of the week goes to the coolest human in LA next to Eyedress, zzzahara with "Bulletproof.

Album of the Week goes to the self titled "Medicine Singers". It is as American as it gets and everyone should spend some time with this hauntingly good record.

Lastly, being a human in America we got to see one of our rights taken away from us and more will be taken away. We are living in the upside down.

Today is not a great day if you are an American. Why? Our rights to an abortion have been taken away and I for one am sick of the rich WHITE minority dictating what the rest of us do. In the United States if you are rich and white the law does not apply to you. Example, multiple Supreme court justices stated, under oath, that they would not overturn Roe VS Wade and were then confirmed. They lied and overturned  Roe VS Wade and nothing is happening to these judges. Again perjury does not exist if you are rich. Want another example? Our ex-president caused a failed coup and did not get arrested for treason because he is rich and white. To quote the Lairs "Facts are facts and fictions fiction"

All I know for certain is that no other new music specialty show has played both Megadeth and Joji. As always, welcome to New Noize.

We witnessed the return of The Mars Volta with "Blacklight Shine '' and of course this is the  New Noize song of the week. The Mars Volta have traditionally released their slowest track as their first single on past releases cycles and are following suit. I look forward to future audio and will keep you abreast of all things Mars Volta.

It feels like forever but "Arkhon'' by Zola Jesus finally dropped AND IT'S SO GOOD. Sacred Bones are really bringing the heat with all their releases this year.

Side Note, SHOUT OUT TO Ipecac Records. Mike Patton's label hooked me up with the newly redone Mike Patton version of the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles theme song from the 1987 cartoon for the new "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder Revenge" video game. There is also another track that features Ghostface and Raekwon from the almighty Wu Tang Clan (which I will play on the next New Noize) Thanks Ipecac for always coming though when I make strange requests. FYI You know I have "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder Revenge" and if you wanna rock some online I have it for both the Playstation and Nintendo Switch.

Talking about this coming New Noize, there will be no New Noize as I try to celebrate our  independence.

New Noize on a Juneteenth Fathers Day and I am happy to report it was a stellar Sunday. I did cover the Reggae Soundclash as the Cool Rullah is a dad and I can barely take care of myself.

New Noize song of the week belongs to Eva B with Rozi. Pakistani hip hop is starting to catch the wind & I look forward to watching her grow. Her single "Rozi" was featured at the end of episode 1 of Ms Marvel. It has that tri-state feel with that Pakistani masala drippin all over. This one needs to be eaten with your hands. Honorable mention goes to Dry Cleaning's new track "Don't Press Me" & FKA Twigs "Killer" What can I say the UK is bringing all the noise right now. Also new BORIS. AND FOR the select few that actually take the time to read all this nonsense, see I can pick other tracks than BORIS for Song/Album of the week. Truth be told, I was shocked as well.

Continuing my streak of highlighting music in video games I played a track by Blood Cultures specifically "Set it on Fire". Blood Cultures is doing the whole soundtrack to the upcoming game, Skate Story. What I know of the game so far is that it takes place in hell where you play a demon made of glass trying to escape hell, specifically skate your way out of hell which apparently is made up of surreal landscapes. The catch, if you wipe out you shatter because you are made of glass.

Album of the Week goes to Saya Gray "19 Masters" I do consider this a fringe record that will be underrated within the influx of music. I really hope this album gets more coverage, it has heavy notes of the avantgarde and small pop arrangements that is considered almost like a beat record due to the cacophony of sounds being clashed together. Plain and simple this is the type of shit I seek out and bump but not for everyone though I do recommend trying this fit out. You never know what anything looks like until you try it on and "19 Masters" is eyeing up that dressing room. To keep in line with the Song of the Week,  Album of the Week  honorable mentions goes to Σtella "Up and Away" It has a laid back Khruangbin vibe just not as psychedelic. It is a perfect summer beach day album when you are solo sipping some sort of tropical beverage under a shady umbrella, feet all up under the sand while your skin is leaking sweat because of all that heat.

That new J.Rocc record slaps as well.

 See ya next week.
