I'm back baby! Took an extra large vacation. 1st stop was Florida to unite with the Ahmed clan which was at the very rare 100%. Then I headed to Atlanta to see the HOMMIE and check out the city, neither disappointed. Atlanta is one of my new favorite spots.

Song of the Week goes to the Rhymesayers crew with "Pumpkin Seeds''.  Aesop Rock & Blockhead get really sinister with a lot of metal finger feels on the beats but then you got Lupe on the track and he just eats this all up. Lupe Fiasco is known for his upbeat takes and is usually the brightest star but on this track he goes total black hole event horizon. This is no club banger but you will have this on repeat.

Album of the Week is Anyhow by Canada's own Leland Whitty. He is in a little band called BADBADNOTGOOD and if you heard New Noize ever you know I rock the fuck out these jams.  It has a very different texture compared to Mr Whitty's main outfit. The exploration is what I most adore about this 30 minute record.

There will be New Noize on every Sunday moving forward. YES there will be a Christmas day show, which I will be doing live from 9-11PM and playing new music holiday jams. Most new and some are a yearly tradition.

Best of New Noize 2022 the 3 Hour special will air on 1/1/23. Yeah no typo I will be in the following Sunday for the most important show of the year.

The great chill has hit so call and all the kids have bundled up including your boy. Don't worry though Kratos and the gang are keeping me warm at night. You didn't come here for this so let's get to the good stuff, New Noize....

Quick programing note, there will be no New Noize for the next 3 sundays. Feel free to keep hitting me up but I will be on hiatus and taking full advantage of not having to think for a while. No one will be covering the show either BUT I will be back and still planning on doing my holiday themed show as the special 3 hour Best of 2022 show.

Since this is going to be the last New Noize in a while I wanted to hit a solid mix of a lot of different genres so you can go back to the playlist and still discover something you may have glanced over.

The only consistent thing for New Noize is Chainsaw Man, this anime is incredible & the music direction is equally as good. New episode means new song+ending sequence and they delivered again!. Check out "In the Back Room" by syudou, shit is wild.

New Noize song of the week goes to Fever Ray with "Carbon Dioxide" Not only am i waiting with great anticipation for this coming record there will be a tour and if you have never seen the spectacle which is Fever Ray then I urge you to get on these tickets when they eventually play locally in your area.

The New Noize album of the week goes to Gold Panda with "The Work" Gold Panda is severely underrated and this album should get a cover to cover listen. Loaded with bangers and grooves this subtle album definitely puts in "the work".

See you cats in a few weeks. If for some reason my airplane gets tractor-beamed into an imperial star destroyer it send Ahsoka Tano to come rescue me, she's my only hope.

Ok ok ok today is the last day of democracy as we know it unless voter turnout is high, welcome to the beginning of the end. I live by a simple truth, facts are facts and fiction's fiction. I just wanted to take a moment and reflect on my last 42 years where a large portion of the country, the place I call home, thought that the demise of democracy would come at the hands of the religion I hold in my heart. Well at least you cant blame Islam on this one. Trust me I DONT WANT TO TALK ABOUT THIS. Id rather discuss Chainsaw Man music supervision or my excitement for tomorrow nights God Of War Ragnarök drop but NO fascism is about to take over.

This past show was a celebration of all things new like we do every Sunday. The New Noize song of the week belongs to Yves Tumor "God Is a Circle"

The New Noize Album of the week goes to Phoenix "Alpha Zulu"

I kept this one short so that you can go out and vote rather than read the rest of my ramblings. For reals I am not hopeful so America prove me wrong.

See you in the new fascist America next Sunday.

And all the shareholders gonna flex and try to annex the truth
While the new trust is gonna flex and cast their image in you
Yeah, all the shareholders gonna flex and try to annex the truth
And while the new trust tries to flex and cast their image in you
And GE is gonna flex and try and annex the truth
And NBC is gonna flex and cast their image in you
And Disney bought the fantasies and piles of eyes
And ABC's new thrill rides of trials and lies
And while the gut eaters strain to pull the mud from their mouths
They force our ears to go deaf to the screams in the south

Halloween is the best Holiday of Holidays. In 1986 my mom made me a custom costume from my favorite cartoon, I was the pilot for black lion in Voltron. This Halloween I was a Lobster Monster (not custom).

This mischief night was New Noize so I sprinkled some Halloween type music into the set, can you guess which ones?

The New Noize song of the week goes to "Vivien" by +++ (Crosses). It was well overdue for Chino and company to come back and release some new +++ . They decided to release "Vivien" on the day where the veil between the living and the spirits is at its thinnest. ALSO the song resembles Brittny Spears' "Baby Hit Me One More Time" so much so Shaun Lopez released a comparison on his socials.

The New Noize Album of the Week goes to Drugdealer's "Hiding in Plain Sight". Warm mics, ramblings grooves and a touch of that throwback gives me an ear-feel of the 70s. This album reminds me of a fading polaroid left in the sun for half a decade. The horns in the record just do it for me.

One of my favorite music stories is Chainsaw Man's music. If you have been following my posts you know how obsessed I am about the newest anime on the block. As if the intro music wasn't enough at the end of each episode they are playing a different track, and so far it has been all new music. This past episode (episode 3) did not disappoint. I have never heard of MAXIMUM THE HORMONE or the song "MAHAWATARI NIOKU CENTI" but holy pumpkin king they are now the focus of my audio gaze.

Real Quick. RIP DOOM. He died 2 years ago on Halloween and the MC landscape hasn't been the same. Loosing the #1 villain in the game still stings.
