First New Noize of the 2022 season and as always, compared to the rest of the new music specialty shows I stand alone when it comes to diversity. Am I wrong? Send me a new music hour that plays Father John Misty followed by Earl Sweatshirt, I'll wait...

Ultra excited for this year and the onslaught of concerts that should be happening when this pandemic calms down, science willing.

New Noize song of the week was difficult to pick (some things will never change) and as much as I love the new Radiohead side project The Smile's "You Will Never Work in Television Again" the 1st 2022 song to grab the title of Song of the Week is Father John Misty "Funny Girl". Josh is playing next month down in LA with the Philharmonic & I pray to the rock gods I will be at this show.

New Noize Album of the Week is by a band I have never heard of, Sis. Their new EP, Gnani, is a nice mix of laid back lofi with some bright highlights, a ton of jazzy elements and the right amount of weird to set off your 2022 right.

Did anyone else see the latest Attack on Titan? This final season arc is coming to a close and out the gate the action, the drama & the resolve of Mikasa has me locked in.

Book of Boba episode 2 did a better version of Dune than the Dune did.

WE ARE ONLY 2 WEEKS AWAY FROM THE NEW BORIS RECORD! I will have a full review out on that come close to the release. I have been listening to their records in anticipation of their new one and they are one of the few bands that just resonate with and am flirting with doing an entire retrospective of their catalog after I spend more time with their new record.
