This MIX! This SET! This 2 hour show I call New Noize had all the things. I pride myself on the diversity of genres and it felt good to be totally on brand this week. I went just about everywhere this past Sunday.

DISCLAIMER and semi spoiler ALERT: YES the new BORIS album came out on Friday and that will be NEXT WEEKs ALBUM OF THE WEEK, but why? The Supply Chain issue delayed my package from coming in on time and I just got it dropped off on my doorstep. Since I am the king of slothiness I can not complain so we will push that pick to next week....Which brings us to the ultimate question, WHAT IS THE ALBUM OF THE WEEK?????

Lane 8 "Reviver" I played many of the tracks off "Reviver" over the past weeks. I thought the album came out but to my surprise he just released it on Friday. If you want to smile, throw this LP on and let it ride.

Song of the week belongs to one of the greatest bands to walk the earth and is one of the primary forces that made the guy doing this write up, Sonic Youth. Needless to say I was in utter disbelief & full of joy when they announced a new record. I like to call these types of releases "new old releases" It's Sonic Youth, and they were known to constantly create while on the road. Apparently they had been recording music while touring from 2000 up until they broke up and are releasing all these recordings on an upcoming LP, which you can pre-order on their bandcamp right now. If you do "In & Out" which i played this past Sunday and is your New Noize Song of the week. My hype cup runneth over with excitement of this full length release.

Till next Sunday my people.
