WE DID IT! Another year of music in the books, and what a New Noize it’s been. Doing this show is one of the greatest joys of my life—even when it’s a little chaotic (read: stressful). The special only gave me 3 hours to work with, so yeah, some tough cuts had to be made. But in the end, I Got Heaven by Mannequin Pussy. Album of the Year. CONGRATS!

2024 was a banner year for music. I could sit here and wax poetic about all the dopeness, but that’s not what New Noize does. We’re always looking forward. So here’s to 2025 and whatever it’s about to bring.

Before I sign off, let me say this: I’m forever grateful. To everyone who tuned into the show, followed the New Noize Weekly playlist, or read these write-ups—thank you. Huge thanks to the artists, bands, DJs, tour managers, promo teams, and A&Rs who got me into shows, festivals, and all the wild live events this year.
