EID MUBARAK!

IM BACK!!!!!! AGAIN!!!!! That seems to be the theme of my 2020. Big UPS to Hillary for covering the show as I was once again sidelined this year due to finally getting my knee surgery (7 weeks later) and was cleared to climb stairs this past week so I did just that to delivered another jam packed 2 hour of the most diverse new music playlist in all of radio and beyond.

It seems like 2020 is all about the comeback. Our industry is hurting so go support the artists you like by buying merch, paying for live streams, sharing your favorite tracks on social media and BUYING ACTUAL MUSIC! I for one am just glad to be back in action.

Stay safe and I'll be back next Sunday...Hopefully...

UPDATE. This will be the last New Noize for at least 3 weeks. I will be getting my extremely delayed knee surgery (due to the coronavirus) this Friday which means I will not be cleared to climbs stairs which also means that there will be no New Noize for a while. No more than 6 weeks but at least 3. I know, this 2020 rollercoaster won't stop. At least music is top shelf.

To those that know and care, hit me up for real. Its gonna be hard being solo & going through the motions during recovery.

And before I sign off for a few weeks I just wanted to big up all my Muslim sisters and brothers during the holiest of months, this will be a Ramadan to remember.

See you in a few weeks. Peace out my peoples.

HAPPY 420. It only seems like yesterday I was ducking blue heat while in the tri-state twisting up all sorts of herbal grades and now I live in Southern California where its so legal it's considered an essential business to stay open during a global pandemic. This is what we call a WIN as an American.

Another big W comes this past Sunday's via New Noize. New full length records dropped from Fiona Apple, Shabazz Palaces & DaBaby. If that wasn't enough to get you lifted this holiday a handful of single joints including new songs from Bon Iver, L7, Flume(feat. Toro y Moi), Car Seat Headrest & Jamie xx. Oh and did you hear about Muzz? It's a supergroup trio created by Interpol’s Paul Banks which includes Matt Barrick of the Walkmen and Josh Kaufman.

Let us all do our civic duty and stay 6 feet apart while sparking up on the greatest holiday next to flag day. See you next Sunday.
