Great album by a local group out in the Santa Barbara/Carpinteria called the American Spirit. TRUST ME it takes a LOT for a local band to even make the cut on New Noize, let alone a coveted spot on the ALL WAX once a year special. All one has to do is listen to any track on "Season of Violence" and you will get the point. Also surprised they haven't signed to a label yet, so labels get on it...

Little did i know it had one of my favorite bands BORIS covering Lithium until i walked into my apt freaking out. 1st up on the Agenda Record Store Day. It going down nationally this Saturday. Yours truly will be lining up bright and early at Warbler Records in SB to support out local music distributors. Oh also if you didn't know I am a radio at 92.9 KJEE and host New Noize, a curated hour from 9-10PM on Sunday nights of you guessed it , new music. THIS SUNDAY I will be doing a very special, VERY RARE all wax set with vinyls from RSD as well as other new music, on vinyl of course. Follow me on twitter and catch the live stream.
