October 1st is especially special to me as both my little brothers were born today, 8 years apart from each other. There are no 2 people on this planet that are more important to me. What a weekend! Fall has rolled in on a full Moon & I celebrated with the National at the Santa Barbara Bowl here in town. Come tomorrow a video game I have been waiting for over 10 years is dropping, Valkyria Chronicles 4. The first Valkyria Chronicles was like no other RPG I had ever played, the art style, the story and of course the game play/battle engine are top notch. PLUS THERE ARE TANKS!!!! Yes Valkyria Chronicles 2 & 3 were ehhhh. I did not like them due to them straying from the original battle system but the rumor was that Sega was going to return to the Valkyria Chronicles 1 battle system and a few weeks ago Sega decided to release a demo. As soon as I fired up my PS4, downloaded the demo I was instantly transported back into this world of war & conflict. I highly recommend this game if you like RPGs as the battle system is one of the best I have ever played. I was having a really hard time deciding what console I was going to download this on, the inner conflict was raging but the PS4 won over the Switch. OH SNAPS which reminds me I have to preorder this thing right now so I can play this as soon as this comes out. Don't get me started on my gaming backlog PLUS there are so many games coming out soon. Red Dead Redemption 2 will be a new addiction, but thats for another write up.
