Killer week in new music, got my vinyls from Burger Records and have been spinning Glitterbust on the home studio, so freaking good.

It especially pairs well with the Division, new 3rd person shooter created by Ubisoft. How do I listen to vinyls while playing video games? Simple, I turn off the game music but keep the voice and sound effects on and blast that through the TV. Then I crank my stereo and boom, greatness! I highly recommend turning the subtitles on. 

Oh and I FINALLY got the soundtrack to Star Wars Force Awakens and had to give Snoke some love. Im gonna retire Star Wars HeadSpace from future playlists, ever since I got the record I have been playing it on New Noize, one of the best albums of 2016. If you haven’t heard it yet just buy the album and hit play, its amazing from cover to cover. 

Oh and can we talk about video games some more? The Division is a great so far, but the game of the month hands down is BROFORCE! It just shows you that you don’t have insane graphics as long as you have solid gameplay. I HIGHLY recommend this game, its one of my favs for 2016 so far…

In April Destiny is dropping an update, I guess they are feeling the heat from the Division. Will I play it, OF COURSE!!! But IDK how long my Destiny passion will burn, come May its DOOM time then NO MAN SKY on June 21, and lets not even get into PSVR, 2016 is definitely the year of the gamer.

It official. IM GOING TO JAPAN!

Plan is to leave Friday the 13th and come back memorial day weekend. I figured since I am turing 36 I should Enter the 36th Chamber. (I realize that this is a Wu-Tang reference to a Shaw brothers movie which is a Chinese kung-fu flick so slow down on the nerd rage.)

Please feel free to give me any and all advice you may have. If you know of dope music venues let a dude know. If you have any bands I should check out while I’m out there let me know. If you know where I can ride a dragon while drinking sake as I battle Gundam forces, let me know.  I am trying to connect to a bunch of labels right now as I spin a nice amount of Japanese bands on #NewNoize 

Things I am definitely doing in Nippon include:

Possibly see an Eva running through the hillsides of Japan(Def gonna try my hardest to ride the Eva themed Bullet Train)

Catching a few baseball games, gotta visit Hideki Matsui old stomping grounds

Ghibli Museum is on the list (hoping this catbus picks me up)

Possibly see a whale shark 

Arcades GALORE!!!!

Or I might unknowingly stroll onto a gameshow and plummet to my death like this poor lady

I’m back from the dead and Happy Leap Day! Here is this past Sunday’s New Noize playlist.

This past weekend we celebrate the 400 Years anniversary of Galileo's sun science being banned by the church(February 26, 1616), silly Catholics. According to the Creators project “His views on heliocentrism eventually earned him two convictions of heresy, threats of torture, and the final years of his life under house arrest.” Im sure there’s a Kanye joke in there somewhere ;) 

Also there was this thing last night on where they gave a bunch of rich white ppl gold statues, the only one that really matters is my hommie Ennio Morricone copping one, bonus points to Kira Roessler for her work on Mad Max.
