Welcome party people to the weekly New Noize update. I hope you enjoy this week's offering in new music. Highlights include Mac DeMarco full length (I actually went deep and played one of the "sillier" songs) & Holly Herndon's full length "PROTO " If you like experimental yet cohesive music, Holly Herndon's you girl. Amon Tobin new album is pretty amazing as well as off the wall but this weeks cake goes to Flylo's new track "More". Why? Quick Game of Thrones rant. I have issues with people commenting on this specific show, especially the last 2 episodes. Much like albums, YOU HAVE TO LISTEN TO THE WHOLE THING BEFORE COMING OUT WITH YOUR OPINION. If I just based my opinion on a band based on 1 or 2 singles they put out rather than their body of work, then what kind of critic am I? I would be doing a disservice to any label trying to promote a band based on 1 single. Yes thats how the “game” goes but anyone who has worked with me over the past 11 years knows that I am a “breaker of the wheel”. All these people talking trash on the writers is amazing to me. They have been translating George's books and now have branched off doing their own thing. YES I am a fan of Full Metal Alchemist and thought it was just as good as Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood. I personally loved "the bells" episode and look forward to the this Sunday's finale as well as this Sundays New Noize. Or maybe I just have really REALLY bad taste. Too bad for you cause I pick all these songs and come next week I will be dropping another New Noize.
