Another New Noize in the books, and the soundscape was more laid-back than I expected—but no complaints.
Song of the Week goes to feeble little horse for "This Is Real." It starts off soft, then explodes into a cacophony of feedback and indie goodness. feeble little horse is back, and after hearing this, all I want is a new record.
How is no one talking about this album? Seriously—no big outlets are covering this killer record. Dead Channel Sky by clipping. is obliterating any notion of genre boundaries. Revolutionary lyricism paired with frantic, shape-shifting production that jumps from jungle to industrial to chiptune and beyond. Sub Pop has done it again.
See you next week.
